3.3.18. Replacement of sealing rings of a cranked shaft
PERFORMANCE ORDER
The right sealing ring
1. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
2. Drill in a sealing ring two small apertures, located in the opposite ends of consolidation. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled apertures of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend for heads of screws a sealing ring.
3. Clear a nest of a sealing ring.
4. Grease with pure engine oil working edges of a new sealing ring and establish it on a cranked shaft. Working edges of a new sealing ring should be directed inside.
5. Remove all traces of engine oil and establish a pulley on a cranked shaft.

6. Remove a flywheel.
7. Drill in a sealing ring two small apertures, located in the opposite ends of consolidation. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled apertures of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend for heads of screws a sealing ring.
8. Clear a nest of a sealing ring.
9. Grease with pure engine oil working edges of a new sealing ring and establish it on a cranked shaft. Working edges of a new sealing ring should be directed inside.
10. Establish a flywheel.
