And – the aperture is absent – 1,4 mm

In – one aperture – 1,45 mm

With – two apertures – 1,5 mm

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid from cooling system.
2. Remove inlet and final collectors.
3. Remove a camshaft pulley.
4. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a back casing of a gear belt to a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Loosen the collars also disconnect hoses of giving of a cooling liquid to a casing of the thermostat and a head of the block of cylinders.
6. Unscrew nuts and remove wires from candles накаливания.
7. Disconnect a socket from the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
8. Disconnect pipelines of giving of fuel from fuel atomizers and the fuel pump of a high pressure and remove pipelines.
9. Gradually unscrew bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in an order, the return shown on drawing.
10. Take bolts together with washers.
11. Remove a head from the block of cylinders and a lining.

Preparation for installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders of the engine are necessary for clearing carefully of the lining and deposit rests, using a plastic or wooden scraper. Also it is necessary to clear the top parts of pistons. At clearing exclude possibility of hit of products of clearing in oil channels of system of cooling. Carefully clear internal surfaces of cylinders.
2. Check up surfaces of interface of a head and the block of cylinders of the engine on presence of defects. Insignificant damages are eliminated by machining. Also using a metal ruler and probe, check up planeness прилегания surfaces.
3. Clear apertures under bolts in the block. Bolt screwing up in the aperture filled with oil can break off the block because of hydraulic pressure.
4. Depending on size выступания pistons from the block of cylinders it is necessary to use a lining of a head of strictly certain thickness. The thickness of a lining is identified by the apertures punched in the left forward corner of a lining (fig. the Arrangement of apertures for identification of a thickness of a lining of a head of the block of cylinders see).
5. Check up that the cranked shaft is in position of the top dead point of the piston of the first cylinder. Establish the indicator of hour type on an arm on the block of cylinders. Establish a measuring tip on the block of cylinders and establish an indicator scale on 0. Establish a measuring tip on the piston of the first cylinder and slightly turn a cranked shaft in both parties and note the highest value on the indicator. Write down this value. Check up выступание the piston in three points (points are specified by arrows).
6. Similarly measure выступание the piston on cylinder N4. Then turn a camshaft on 180 ° and repeat measurement выступания pistons on cylinders 2 and 3. Turn a camshaft on 540 ° and establish it in a starting position.
7. Define an average выступание the piston, putting 12 sizes выступания pistons and having divided total number on 12. Using size of average выступания the piston, pick up a lining of a head of the block of cylinders (see the table).

Installation
The prevention

At installation of a head of the block of cylinders it is necessary to use new bolts.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wipe interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders and a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Check up that two directing pins are established in a head of the block of cylinders and establish a lining of a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Check up that the label of a pulley of a cranked shaft is combined with the index, and the camshaft is established in a head of the block of cylinders so that cams of the first cylinder have been directed upwards.
4. Establish a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Grease bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders with engine oil and, being careful, insert them into nests. Screw up bolts of fastening of a head by hand.
6. In the sequence shown in drawing, tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in some stages.
7. The further installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system.
