3.5.9. Removal of pistons from rods
THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

For fastening of the bottom head of a rod it is necessary to use new bolts and nuts.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On petrol engines of 1,6 l remove a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pallet and a pipe маслоприемника.
2. On engines DOCH of 1,8 and 2,0 l remove a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pallet and a pipe маслоприемника. Unscrew screws and remove a partition from the basis of the block of cylinders.
3. On diesel engines of 1,7 l remove a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pallet and a pipe маслоприемника. Unscrew bolts and remove a partition from the basis of the block of cylinders.
4. On diesel engines of 2,0 l remove a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pallet and a pipe маслоприемника.
5. On all models if there is a deposit in the top part of the cylinder, remove its scraper from a soft material. Step presence in the top part of the cylinder testifies to excessive deterioration of the cylinder and necessity расточки the engine cylinder.
6. Check up a lateral backlash of all bottom heads of a rod.

7. Using a hammer and кернер or a paint, note position of a cover of the bottom head of a rod and cylinder number.

8. Turn a cranked shaft so that pistons of the first and fourth cylinders were established in the bottom dead point.
9. Unscrew nuts (diesel engines 1,7) or bolts (other engines) fastenings of a cover of the bottom head of a rod of the first cylinder. Remove the bottom cover of a rod.
10. Using the hammer handle, push out the piston upwards the block of cylinders and take it from the block of cylinders.
11. On the bottom head of a rod establish a cover of a rod and screw nuts that will allow to hold them in the complete set and not to mix in places.
12. Similarly remove the piston of the fourth cylinder.
13. Turn a cranked shaft on 180 ° for installation of pistons of the second and third cylinder in the bottom dead point and similarly remove pistons.
