Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On diesel engines of 1,7 l the vacuum pump is fixed on the alternating current generator, and on diesel engines of 2,0 l the pump is attached by bolts to a head of the block of cylinders.
2. On cars with engines of 1,7 l lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
3. Unscrew a vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.
4. On engines of 1,7 l unscrew a connecting nut and remove a pipe of giving of oil to the pump.

5. Loosen the a collar also remove a pipe of return of oil from the vacuum pump.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove the vacuum pump.
7. Remove a sealing ring of round section (arrow) from the generator on engines of 1,7 l or from a flute in the pump on engines of 2,0 l.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Before installation of the vacuum pump on the engine of 1,7 l through the union of giving of oil fill in in the pump of 5 sm3 w oils.

Check

Working capacity of the vacuum pump of brake system can check up, using the vacuum gauge.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a vacuum pipe from the pump and instead of it connect the vacuum gauge.
2. Start the engine in an idling mode. Measure the vacuum created by the pump. After 1 minute of work of the engine the vacuum should make nearby 500 мм.рт.ст. If the vacuum created by the pump does not correspond to the demanded data, replace the pump completely since spare parts to the pump are not delivered.
