8.15. The back working brake cylinder

Details of the back working brake cylinder


1. Remove a brake drum.
2. Using a clip, press a brake hose in a place closest to the working brake cylinder.
3. Using flat-nose pliers, remove the top returnable spring compressing brake Pads. Remove the top ends brake колодок from pistons of the working brake cylinder.
4. Remove a dirt round a junction of a brake hose and a back part of the working brake cylinder. Unscrew a connecting nut. Being careful, take a brake pipe from the working brake cylinder and close its stopper.
5. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder to a brake board. Being careful, remove the working brake cylinder.


1. Clear a dust and a dirt from the working brake cylinder.
2. Remove dustproof covers from each end of the cylinder.
3. Take both pistons with sealing rings from the brake cylinder.
4. Check up a condition of pistons and the brake cylinder on deterioration, corrosion and other defects.
5. Establish sealing rings on the piston, grease with their pure brake liquid and establish pistons in the brake cylinder.
6. Establish dustproof caps.


1. Wipe a brake board, establish the brake pipeline on the brake cylinder and screw up a connecting nut on two turns.
2. Screw in bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder. Definitively tighten a nut of fastening of the brake pipeline.
3. Remove a clip from a brake hose.
4. Establish brake Pads on pistons of the brake cylinder and establish the top returnable spring.
5. Establish a brake drum.
6. Remove air from brake system.
