3.4.15. An oil radiator

THE GENERAL DATA

The oil radiator is established on a forward left part of the block of cylinders of the engine. On engines till 1998 the oil radiator is placed in a casing of the oil filter, and on models since 1998 fastens bolts to a forward part of a casing of the oil filter.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.

Models till 1998

2. Press hoses of giving of a cooling liquid to an oil radiator. Loosen the collars also remove hoses from a radiator.

3. Wipe area about a casing of the oil filter, unscrew bolts and remove a casing and a lining from a head of the block of cylinders.

4. Unscrew screws and uncover an oil radiator.

5. Remove a lining from a forward part of a casing of the oil filter.

6. Unscrew bolts from a back part of a casing of the oil filter.

7. Remove an oil radiator together with sealing rings (are specified by arrows).

Models with 1998г.

8. Press hoses of giving of a cooling liquid to an oil radiator. Release collars and remove hoses from an oil radiator.

9. Wipe area about an oil radiator, unscrew bolts and remove an oil radiator and a lining from a casing of the oil filter.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus it is necessary to establish a new lining and sealing rings.
