3.4.10. Chains and asterisks Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. Uncover heads.
2. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point in a step of compression and fix a cranked shaft.
3. For access improvement to a cover of an asterisk of the fuel pump execute following actions:
– Remove a casing of the air filter and a forward exhaust pipe;
– Remove auxiliary приводной a belt;
– Unscrew a nut of fastening of a support of the power unit on the right side of the engine, raise the engine as far as possible not to deform hoses and tubes.
4. Remove top and bottom натяжители chains.
5. Unscrew an auxiliary rack of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension, bottom and шарнирный a bolt of a basic plate and remove the mechanism of a tension from the engine.
6. Unscrew bolts and uncover asterisks of the fuel pump.
7. Establish blocking pins in asterisks of the fuel pump and a camshaft.
8. Unscrew bolts and remove top directing to a chain from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders.
The prevention

Before unscrewing of the top bolts of them directing to a chain it is necessary to heat up to soften the structure interfering unscrewing of bolts.

9. Heat up the top bolts directing to a chain for simplification of their unscrewing.
10. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the top directing chain.
11. Remove top directing to a chain.
12. Using a wrench, fix a camshaft from проворачиваний and ослабьте a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft.
13. Check up that the chain is correctly established on an asterisk of a camshaft and, using a soft wire, adhere a chain to an asterisk. If blocking pins are used, remove them before easing of bolts of fastening of an asterisk and establish into place after bolt easing.
14. Take pins of blocking of the fuel pump and ослабьте bolts, fastening asterisks of the fuel pump to a pump ledge. Unscrew bolts and remove an asterisk of the fuel pump.
15. Remove a chain from an asterisk of the fuel pump then remove an asterisk from a camshaft and take it together with a chain from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders.
The bottom chain and asterisks
16. Remove the top chain and asterisks.
17. Uncover chains.
18. Put combination labels on a chain and asterisks.
19. Remove an asterisk of the fuel pump together with a chain.
20. Remove an asterisk from a cranked shaft.
21. Remove segment шпонку from a cranked shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up a condition of teeths of asterisks on deterioration and damage. In the presence of defects of asterisks, it is necessary to replace asterisks and a chain.
2. Check up a condition directing a chain and edges of the mechanism of a tension on presence of deterioration and damages.

Installation
The prevention

At installation of an asterisk of a camshaft and a new directing chain it is necessary to use new bolts.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
The top chain and asterisks
1. If new details are established, transfer on them labels of combination from earlier standing details. Check up that the cranked shaft is fixed in position of the top dead point of the piston of the first cylinder. Establish an asterisk of the fuel pump together with a chain through the top part of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Establish an asterisk of the fuel pump and dress on it a chain.
3. Check up that earlier made labels are combined, and establish an asterisk of the fuel pump and a camshaft. Remove a wire adhering a chain to an asterisk of a camshaft.
4. Combine an adjusting label of an asterisk of the fuel pump with an aperture in a ledge of the pump and tighten fastening bolts by hand.
5. Establish a new bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft and tighten it by hand.
6. Establish bottom натяжитель chains.
7. Establish top directing to a chain and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment.
8. Establish pins of blocking of the pump, a camshaft and a cranked shaft. If necessary adjust a mechanism drive timing
9. Establish top натяжитель chains.
10. Check up that interfaced surfaces of a cover of an asterisk of the fuel pump and a chain cover, pure and dry. Establish a cover with use of a thin lining or a thin layer of hermetic. Tighten bolts of fastening of a cover the demanded moment.
11. Establish the tension mechanism drive a belt.
12. Convert the right support of the power unit to a head of the block of cylinders.
13. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
14. Establish a forward exhaust pipe, a casing of the air filter and the gauge of a cranked shaft.
The bottom chain and asterisks
15. At installation of new details transfer on them labels of combination from earlier removed details.
16. Establish segment шпонку in a groove of a cranked shaft and establish an asterisk of a cranked shaft, combining a groove on an asterisk with segment шпонкой.
17. Check up that the asterisk of the fuel pump is correctly combined, and the cranked shaft of the engine is fixed in position of the top dead point of the piston of the first cylinder.
18. Check up combination of labels, establish a chain on an asterisk of the fuel pump and establish an asterisk into place. Check up that all labels made before removal, are correctly combined.
19. Establish a cover of a chain and establish the top chain of a drive of the mechanism timing.
