3.1.18. A suspension bracket of the power unit

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For access improvement to a suspension bracket of the power unit lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Check up a condition of rubber elements of a suspension bracket on presence of cracks, ageing and stratification.
3. Check up reliability of fastening of engine mounts.
4. Moving the engine here and there, check up люфт in engine mounts. Люфт should be insignificant even at new elements of suspension brackets.

Replacement of a forward suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew bolts and remove draught of indemnification of a twisting moment on the right side of the engine.
2. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
3. Establish under the engine a jack and through wooden брусок raise the engine until all weight of the engine will not be perceived by a jack.
4. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a suspension bracket to a forward bottom frame and the top nut of fastening of a suspension bracket to the power unit.
5. Raise the engine and take a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
6. Check up all elements of a suspension bracket on signs of deterioration and if necessary replace.
7. Establish a suspension bracket support into place and fix bolts.
8. Lower the car and establish draught of indemnification of a twisting moment.

Replacement of a back suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew bolts, remove draught of indemnification of a twisting moment on the right side of the engine.
2. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
3. On models with a mechanical transmission ослабьте tightening a bolt of a rod of a gear change also remove a rod of a gear change from draught of management.
4. On models with an automatic transmission disconnect a cable of a choice of transfers from a transmission.
5. Establish under the engine a jack and through wooden брусок raise the engine until all weight of the engine will not be perceived by a jack.
6. Unscrew bolts, fastening a back suspension bracket of the power unit to the bottom frame, and take it from under the car.
7. Establish a new back suspension bracket of the power unit and attach its bolts to the bottom frame.
8. Lower the engine and take a jack from under the car.
9. On models with a mechanical transmission repeatedly connect a rod of a gear change and, if necessary, adjust the gear change mechanism.
10. On models with an automatic transmission connect a cable of a choice of transfers.
11. Lower the car and establish draught of indemnification of a twisting moment.
