3.2.4. The top dead point (ВМТ) the piston of the first cylinder
THE GENERAL DATA

The top dead point (ВМТ) the piston is a point through which takes place each piston at проворачивании a cranked shaft. Each piston reaches positions ВМТ in the end of a step of compression and then again in the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of mechanism installation timing the engine it is used ВМТ the piston of the first cylinder in a compression step. Cylinder N1 is from outside a gear belt.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator and unscrew spark plugs.
Engines of 1,6 l
2. For access to adjusting labels of a pulley of a camshaft remove the top casing of a gear belt.
3. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft until adjusting labels on pulleys of camshafts () will not be directed to each other and will not be combined with the top part of a head of the block of cylinders ().
Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l
4. For access to adjusting labels of pulleys of camshafts remove the top casing of a gear belt.
5. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft until adjusting labels on camshaft pulleys will not be established in the top position and will be combined with indexes on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (1). Combine a label on a pulley of a cranked shaft with the index on the case (2).
