1.6. The Multi-Info-display

THE GENERAL DATA

Indication of time, radio receiver or date, results of checks Check-Control and the onboard computer

The display lights up at ignition inclusion. On the display constantly there is time indication, date is deduced in case of the switched off radio receiver. Messages on results of checks Check-Control have advantage before indication of the onboard computer.

Brightness of indication is regulated at the included illumination by means of the right regulator of the illumination located under the switch.

At the switched off ignition can be caused short-term, about 15 seconds, indication of time, date and external temperature by short pressing of one of two buttons from above from the display.

Date and time installation

To switch off a radio receiver, and buttons, over the display to press in a following order:

Installation mode:

With nearby 2 seconds, days blink;
To establish day;
Months blink,
To establish month;
Years blink;
To establish year;
Hours blink;
To establish hours;
Minutes blink;
To establish minute;
Hours to within a second join.

If installation only is required to time in an installation mode to press the button until hours or will start to blink minutes.

Malfunction indication

Indication F on the display specifies in malfunction. Faulty function is blocked. For reason elimination to address in the authorised workshop of firm Opel.
