7.1.7. Leading knot of coupling


1. Remove a transmission.
2. Note position of leading knot of coupling in relation to a flywheel, using a marker or a paint.
. 3. Gradually in diagonal sequence ослабьте bolts of leading knot of coupling, turning each bolt on half of turn until spring action will stop, and bolts can be unscrewed manually.
4. Remove leading knot of coupling and a coupling disk.


1. Check up overlays of a disk of coupling on deterioration, mechanical damages or pollution by oil.
2. In the presence of these defects it is necessary to replace a coupling disk.
3. If frictional overlays in a good condition also are not worn out to grooves, springs демпфера are reliably fixed and заклепочные connections are not loosened, the coupling disk can be established in the car.
4. If the coupling disk is polluted by oil, check up the left oil sealing ring of a cranked shaft or a primary shaft of a transmission. If necessary replace sealing rings before installation of a new disk of coupling.
5. Check up knot of a leading disk on deterioration of a press disk, mechanical damages, reliability заклепочного connections, damages диафрагменной coupling springs. If the diaphragm spring is worn out or damaged, or there are suspicions that elasticity of a spring it is necessary to replace knot of a leading disk has changed.
6. Check up working surfaces of a press disk and a flywheel, interfaced to overlays of a disk of coupling. They should be pure, flat and not have scratches and development.
7. Check up press the bearing which should rotate easily, in regular intervals and silently. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring, should be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development. If there are these defects, it is necessary to replace the working cylinder of coupling.
