7.2.8. Transmission removal

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove forward wheels and an engine mudguard.
2. Merge engine oil from a transmission.
3. Remove the accumulator, a support of the accumulator and a starter.
4. Disconnect an electric socket from the switch of a lantern of a backing and release conducting of the switch from скоб fastenings.
5. Using a clip, press a hose connecting a nutritious tank and the main cylinder of coupling.
6. Loosen the a clip of fastening of a hydraulic hose of coupling to картеру transmissions (it is specified by an arrow in a photo at the left). Disconnect a hydraulic hose of coupling from the top part картера transmissions (a photo on the right).
7. Disconnect draught of a gear change from the top part of a transmission.
8. Remove the bottom frame of a forward suspension bracket. Thus support the engine.
9. Take internal hinges of power shafts from a transmission and, using a soft wire, suspend them to a car body. Unscrew bolts (are specified by arrows) and separate the left support of the power unit from a forward part картера transmissions.
10. On engines with the steel stamped pallet unscrew bolts of fastening of a protective plate of a flywheel and remove it.
11. Establish a jack under a transmission and lift it so that the transmission weight was perceived by a jack. Unscrew fastening bolts картера transmissions to the engine.
12. Move a jack together with a transmission to the right, remove a transmission from directing pins, lower downwards and take from under the car.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal taking into account following moments:

  – Check up that directing pins are on a place;
  – Tighten all bolts the demanded moment;
  – Replace sealing rings of power shafts;
  – Establish the bottom frame of a forward suspension bracket;
  – Fill in oil in a transmission;
  – Adjust the gear change mechanism.
