Removal

ENGINES OF 1,7 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. For access improvement disconnect a ventilation hose картера from a back part of a cover of a head.

2. Unscrew nuts, fastening the tyre of giving of pressure to candles накаливания, and remove the tyre with candles накаливания.

3. Unscrew candles накаливания.

ENGINES OF 2,0 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. For access improvement remove a pipe connecting турбонагнетатель and a collector.

2. On early models unscrew nuts, fastening the tyre of giving of pressure to each candle накаливания (a photo at the left), and remove the tyre of giving of pressure (a photo on the right).

3. On later models disconnect from candles накаливания electric sockets.

4. Unscrew candles накаливания from a head of the block of cylinders.

Check

Check up each candle накаливания on presence of mechanical damages. The burnt or destroyed tips of a candle накаливания can be from a bad stream of dispersion of fuel an atomizer. If there is such damage it is necessary to check up and if necessary to replace fuel atomizers.

If candles накаливания have no mechanical damages, check up their electric resistance which owes a life less than 1 Ohm.

Working capacity of candles накаливания can be checked up, submitting on them of 12 volt. Thus they should heat up in regular intervals and for a demanded interval of time. Thus it is necessary to observe precautions:

To hold a candle накаливания a special clip or flat-nose pliers.

The electric feed circuit of a candle накаливания should have the fuse.

After check the candle накаливания should be cooled within several minutes.

The candle накаливания in a good condition heats up to reddening of the worker коника within 5 seconds. At longer heating or heating in an average part, instead of on the end of a candle the candle is faulty and is subject to replacement.
