6.4.1. Introduction

THE GENERAL DATA

The control lamp in a combination of devices burns at work of candles накаливания. After deenergizing of a lamp the engine can be started. If attempt to start the engine after lamp deenergizing does not become, the timer disconnects pressure from candles накаливания to avoid a discharge of the accumulator and an overheat of candles накаливания.

On models with engines of 1,7 l the fuel filter also is equipped by an element of heating which is established between the filter and a casing and copes system of prestarting heating. The heating element joins, if the temperature of the fuel passing through the filter less 5 ° With and is switched off after when the fuel temperature reaches 16 ° With.

Check

Connect the voltmeter between feeding tyre of candles накаливания and the earth. Include ignition and check up that pressure to candles moves in a corresponding interval of time.

At temperature of air 20 ° About time intervals of giving of pressure to candles накаливания should make 3 seconds at which the control lamp burns. Time of burning of a control lamp increases at lower temperatures and decreases at rise in temperature. If pressure moves to candles накаливания, the relay and electroconducting means are serviceable.

Using a tester, check up integrity of candles накаливания, checking resistance between contact in the top part of a candle and the candle case. Resistance of a candle накаливания is less 1 Ohm and if the tester shows большее resistance, a candle накаливания is faulty.
