Removal


The prevention

At power shaft installation it is necessary to use a new nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave and a new lock ring of fastening of a power shaft in a transmission.


Removal of a washer from a power shaft


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove a wheel.
2. Using a chisel or a screw-driver, remove a cap from a nave nut.
3. Take a pin of fixing of a nut of fastening of a power shaft.
4. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
5. Unscrew a nut, крепящую steering bent for to a rotary fist and, using a stripper of spherical hinges, remove steering draught of a rotary fist.
6. Unscrew tightening a bolt, крепящий the bottom lever of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist. Pay attention that the bolt head is located from a back part of a rotary fist.
7. Using a flat chisel or a screw-driver edge as a wedge, unclench a clip of the spherical hinge in the bottom part of a rotary fist.
8. Using the lever, move the bottom lever of a suspension bracket downwards for extraction of the spherical hinge from a rotary fist.
9. Take away a nave from the car and take the external end of a power shaft from a nave. If the power shaft densely sits in a nave, temporarily screw a nut of a nave and, using a hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave, simultaneously tightening a car wheel outside.
10. Take a power shaft from a transmission. For this purpose insert between an internal SHRUS and картером transmissions mount and when the assistant will pull a power shaft outside, strong sharp blow on the mount end beat out a power shaft from gearing in a semiaxial gear wheel of differential. Instead of the taken power shaft insert into a transmission plastic or wooden заглушки.

The prevention

In no event it is impossible to lower the car on wheels with removed by two or one power shafts as it will lead to damage of bearings of a wheel.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before power shaft installation check up a condition of a sealing ring of a power shaft in a transmission.
2. Remove a lock ring from the internal end of a power shaft and establish a new lock ring.
3. Clear шлицы for a power shaft in a nave and a transmission. Grease with a thin layer of greasing working edges of a sealing ring, шлицы a power shaft and flanges.
4. Establish a power shaft in differential, having combined шлицы a power shaft with flutes of semiaxial gear wheels of differential. Insert a power shaft into a transmission against the stop.
5. Combine internal шлицы a power shaft with grooves in a nave and insert a power shaft into a nave.
6. Insert a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever into a rotary fist and fix a bolt.
7. Insert steering draught into the lever of a rotary fist and fix a nut.
8. Establish a washer and screw a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave, without tightening it it is definitive.
9. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
10. Establish a pin of fixing of a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
11. Bend a pin of fixing of a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
