The mechanism of a choice of transfers

 The gear change mechanism consists of the lever of a gear change, a rod and the mechanism of a choice of transfers.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
The lever and gear change rod
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove an engine mudguard.
2. Using a paint or a marker, put combination labels on a rod of a gear change and a clip on a forward part of draught. Loosen the tightening a bolt (it is specified by an arrow), having unscrewed it on two turns.
3. Move the gear change lever to position of 4th transfer, release a rod of a gear change from a clip and take from a rubber protective cover.
4. Remove the central console.
5. Unscrew screws and remove furnish of the lever of a gear change together with switches and disconnect from them electric sockets.
6. Unscrew 4 bolts of fastening of the lever of a gear change to a floor and take the gear change lever together with a rod from the car.
The mechanism of a choice of transfers
7. Separate a rod of a gear change from a clip of the mechanism of a choice of transfers. Tightening the bolt is located in a back part of a transmission before a partition of a motor compartment.
8. Press a clamp (it is specified by an arrow in a photo at the left) and remove шарнирный a finger connecting draught with the lever of the selector on the top part of a transmission (a photo on the right).
9. Remove a lock ring and take the mechanism of a choice of transfers upwards.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
The lever of a gear change and rod
1. Grease all hinges of the lever of a gear change, establish the lever into place and fix bolts.
2. Connect electric sockets to switches of furnish of the lever and establish lever furnish into place.
3. Under the car establish a rubber protective cover on a gear change rod.
4. Attach a rod of a gear change with a draught clip. Combine the labels put before removal, and tighten tightening a bolt.
5. Check up action of the mechanism of a gear change and, if necessary, adjust.
The mechanism of a choice of transfers
6. Grease шарнирные connections of the mechanism of a choice of transfers
7. Establish the mechanism of a choice of transfers and fix a lock ring.
8. Combine draught with the lever of the selector of transfers and fix new шарнирным a finger.
9. Connect a rod of a gear change to a draught clip. Combine the labels put before removal, and tighten tightening a bolt.
10. Check up action of the mechanism of a gear change and, if necessary, adjust.
